Jazlyn had only been in Light Tribe for a little while, but it had felt just like...home. Like, old old home. Though concern grew on her face for a moment as Sitka coughed his way back into his den, the cocoa tabby took a step toward the den when she noticed Shion coming to greet the new cats. Her eyes beamed again as her tail flicked up, almost throwing the bracelet right off her tail if she hadn't been so skilled with holding it there. The Pink-Light giggled, "Well hello howdy-doo to you all! What fine young youngsters you are. Training to be guards huh?"

It was hard, watching the next generation grow up. With each new morning she trained with her apprentice, Alcina was constantly reminded of days that had long passed, and lately, she found that she had to remember her limits. She wasn't used to having limits.
She'd always been a spitfire, determined to do whatever it took to take care of any situation. She bore her scars proudly, though many had begged her to see a healer and have them taken away. But to her, they were a reminder of what she'd overcome... Or perhaps they were simply something she clung on to in order to maintain the façade of her former glory.
So, for all her determination not to appear frail or weak, it was with a huge amount of reluctance that Alcina set paw in Light-Tribe's camp... it was the first time she'd been to Light-Tribe since they'd all arrived at the New World. She'd been ordered by the Silver-Earth herself to visit to get treated for her broken ribs after having a run

What with the recent events of the Forbidden Crystal Forest, cats getting injured left and right, and even more trouble on the way, a little chocolate she-cat still found time to continue her studies of becoming head Healer. Although the Silver-Light had suggested studying with the other Healers, Jazlyn found herself doing it with literally any other cat besides the ones he talked about.
Bright and eager from her sleep, the jingling of her tail charm bounced around on her tail tip as she hopped on over to the prey pile to take a snack into her jaws before she glanced at the Infirmary. The life of a Healer was never dull. There was a cat who had come in the other day with a nasty wound on the face, and while the blood had been cleaned and treated, she was expected to check in on the cat.

Happy humming came from the garden that morning, as a cheery chocolate tabby pranced through the plants, her tail high and bracelet jingling on its tip. She was gathering herbs to refill her stock of herbs that she had been using and spilling all over the place. Light Tribe was certainly busier than ever! She stopped and looked at the dirt before rummaging her nose through it, trying to uproot a mushroom she had found. She delicately grabbed the thing and placed it on her leaf, looking up with dirt all over her face as the Pink-Light sneezed suddenly, dirt flying out. Ah, what a wonderful autumn morning!

The Pink-Light had heard a lot of the recent events happening around the forbidden forest and finally decided to check out what the heck was going on. Those in trouble were still in the process of building the fence around to try to keep cats out, and the chocolate she-cat found herself admiring the work they were doing. With wooden boards and crystals poking out, to a mural in the center depicting several weasels. Jazlyn wiggled her ears in curiosity as she looked around, trying to see if any of the troublemakers were around...
It didn't seem to be. Perhaps they were taking a break or working on a different part of the fence.
The older she-cat wasn't interested in what was inside, anyway. She was just curious about the fence and how it was coming along.

In the meantime, the smoky she-cat wasted no time in getting a head start on her punishment. After all, she had a lot to learn.
Her mind was busy, however, as she finished checking out the infirmary for herbs to get herself familiar with them. With winter came snow- but not just any snow. A great blizzard settled in in the late evening. It prompted all Light Tribers and Light Tribe Visitors to stay in the Crystal Tree till it passed. Once the cats settled in for the night, guests provided with comfortable private dens, the storm worsened. Within a few hours, the tree was icy cold. Sitka awoke, shivering. He was startled he could see his breath. Cold. Too cold. He immediately checked the main chamber to find it impossibly dark. He lit his tattoo to see a wall of snow where the entrance had been, starting to fall in.
He quickly called for Vivi who awoke and inspected the situation. We pixies could melt it for you? She would offer. Sitka shook his head, judging by the darkness of the tree, a lot more than the entrance was covered. "Melting it might flood the tree. We'll have to wait the storm out... for now, we gotta find a way to keep more from coming in..." He mumb HS - Snowedin (2)

Alice nodded, she was having a hard time with words it felt. She was frustrated, she didn't know what was wrong with the Silver-light, and she also felt hurt that he'd lie to them. After all, colds didn't bring blood, or stay for this long. Part of her wanted to just scream from it all. She awoke with a start, her limbs flinching as she felt her fur hot, despite the current cold that the new season had brought. Jazlyn's bright green eyes flicked to and fro, suddenly finding herself very lost and confused. Her pelt twitched, as the cocoa she-cat got to her paws, tail flicking.
Where is the Silver?
It had been a while since she had laid down to rest, and her eyes settled on the other cats waiting out the storm, some huddled together and others still happily (or were they?) chatting. Everything seemed to have settled down from earlier, but the Pink-Light started to feel a panic rise within her own self.

"YAHHOOO!!!" Leaping from the Light Tribe portal, Jazlyn got to do exactly what she had wanted to do when the Light Tribe camp was snowed in before an ice wall had been put up, and that was plow into the snow full force. With a soft pomf noise, the elderly Pink-Light found herself headfirst into a large snow pile, muffled giggles heard from within. The cooca tabby was interested to see her new Gold-Light friend speak that evening, and wouldn't miss it for the world! Though snow was also fun and important.
Poking her head out of the snow pile she was still stuck in, Jazlyn gave a short but loud, "WHOOP!" after hearing Elicia speak, bursting her paws from out of the pile as well to clap them together feebly.

With the rescue patrol working on a way to help free Light Tribe from their snow in, Jazlyn took the time away from the main camp area to retire to her den, snuggling up in the messy space she had made for herself. Her joints hurts as the cold settled in, but a certain warmness in her nest always made her feel better. Tucking her long tail over her paws and her nose, she slowly blinked her eyes as she focused on sleeping. Her nap earlier had been short, more of a meditation than a rest, and she felt the excitement of everything beginning to tire her out.

It had been some time since she had passed through the door. Having found a rock to sunbathe on for the time being, Solaris observed the cats as they filtered through the light one by one. She wondered if she should say something to any of them. They seemed caught up in their own bustling business. Her tail flicked absentmindedly as she stayed on her rock. Should she sneak off on her own to find something to eat? The beautiful clarity of this new world must also have beautiful, fresh creatures to eat. Water to drink. Places to nap. She stood slowly and decided to stay near civilization for the moment. It would be better to stay where there was protection, for in this new world there was fresh food, but also the likelihood of predators. She slunk through the grass towards the cats and found a nice spot outside a large group to sit and evesdrop for the time being.

Bounding through the groups of cats, Smoke was discovering that the cats from the other world appeared to be reuniting with each other, or trying to find lost family members. She wasn't sure what that was like, having left her own, and felt like she wasn't the best cat to provide any information on where certain others were. As she padded by, she meowed a hello to two toms who were clearly flirting with each other and noticed a third, a she-cat, walking up an incline away from the two. With a curious flick of her tail, the black cat approached the other before noticing how forlorn the other looked. "Hey, you looking for cats too? It seems to be pretty common around here. Are you...from the other world?"

The forest you entered seemed normal at first, albeit a little darker than the average forest, but the deeper you traveled, the larger the trees seemed to get. More roots invested the ground, creating caverns and twisting tunnels at the base of the trees. Then, you saw a strand of almost invisible silk in front of your nose. You push on through the strand and continue further into the forest.

Soon enough, the roots and trees began to be progressively more covered in silk until the vastly woven strands were creating tunnels all their own. The forest floor beneath your paws became sticky with the silk. In the beginning, it only took a slight pull to get your paw free, but as you take more steps, your paws seemed to get heavier and the silk stickier until you and your team were stuck in the white webs that overtook the forest.

Tip-toeing her way through the forest, Mizuki tried to retrace her steps from when her team had searched for the Shadow Orb, being careful on where she placed her paws. She carried a shard of the orb in her mouth, the intensity of the glow bright enough to light her way without her passive powers in the dark. Soon, she noticed webs lining the ground and the trees and everything in sight. She was nearing close. The she-cat placed the shard onto the ground and called out to announce her presence,
"Spider sisters? Elizabeth? Mary Ann? Petunia? It's one of those cats who visited you not long ago. I've come to ask a favor of you three, if you may have me."

With a level head, Mizuki was able to contain her excitement to finally get her training started to become a Shadow Singer. She had been assigned to another new cat, one she had not seen before, so she was curious as to what they were like. When Mizuki opened her eyes once more after breaking off from the newly formed Shadow Tribe, the smoky she-cat felt a strange power inside of her. She couldn't believe what had happened that night, when she was accepted into the new tribes after collecting the orbs under Naga's watchful eyes. It was real. Everything the cats had been saying about the other world, with powers beyond her wildest dreams had been true! Oh if mother could see her now. The Red/White-Shadow had decided to split off from the other cats on their way home toward the rocky cliffs of their claimed territory in order to have some alone time for herself. Perhaps she would hunt, or explore the new area. She wasn't sure. All she knew was that she had powers now. Not long after the gathering had broken up and the cats left, did Mizu feel a prickly sensation that she had been followed...and not by another Shadow Triber. It wasn’t often that she wandered alone, but perhaps joining the Tribes had given the small she-cat a sudden burst of courage, which, combined with her endless curiosity, had led her to go tiptoeing along the edge of the shore just south of her new Tribe’s territory. Aside from the ocean itself, Yui hadn’t found anything of particular interest, but she kept stopping to just stare at the vast water ahead, the likes of which she’d never seen before. Her mother had told her tales of the waters just outside of Shadow-Tribe’s old territory, but she had never had any reason to go and see them for herself. Gazing out at it now, though, she thought it was incredible. Did it look just like the ocean in Nandryx? Did they differ?

It had been a long few days since Mizu had first set out on her journey. She'd have to make the road back at some point, but she was determined to find the edge of the land. She noticed the sand beneath her paws turn dark like ash, piquing her curiosity as she sat down to look closer. It was soft beneath her paws and she smiled. If only she had a way to bring some of this sand back with her...though she wasn't sure what she would do with sand. It was just cool to see something as dark as her on her journey. She thought her eyes were going to go blind from looking at the bright white sandy beaches. Taking a break, she decided to do a little investigating along the shore.

Being a pretty, nice day, a little warmer than normal, a trip to the river would be nice! Trotting along, she had begun to get to know the river well after her visits. Hearing the splash of another being, she decides to follow.

It had been a few days since Mizu had been assigned to her mentor and the two had completed the ceremony in the caves. Life was settling down in the Tribe, with a few cats gone on to some assignment up north, but the Red/White-Shadow had decided to go on adventures around the territory instead. Perhaps she would take a walk along the shore and see where it would go? As she padded outside of her den with a stretch of her legs, she noticed Yunka and decided to say hello.

Kieron was exploring around in one of the dotted forests in the Neutral Land on the fine, sunny day. He was looking to see if anywhere in neutral lands had any hidden sorts of caves, rock, or the likes that would contain a lot of minerals and ores that he could take the knowledge back to Fire-Tribe with, as well as collect a few of those resources that he could take back too. The weather was still warm and pleasant, although it would eventually begin to draw closer to autumn with every passing day. It was the sort of day that the Orange-Air would have relished flying in, had she not become injured that day in a spat with an eagle.
She laid in a quiet little area just beyond the mouth of the cove, arched in an uncomfortable crouch with her paws underneath her chest and eyes half-closed. Her wounds had seemed to finally close at last, although each breath still brought a painful stab that made her wince. Any other day she would have loved to fly in this weather, but now she privately found herself reluctant to fly again.
A little overwhelmed by the sight and scents of so many new cats, she had decided to follow the river's path from the camp northward, finding herself at this nice little spot which clearly showed signs of being frequently traveled. The apprentice had three things on her mind that evening: Find the cat who was causing mischief, try to see if any of those beautiful falling meteors had left behind any trace, and find food. Ephemeris had walked around the great divide, taking her time to enjoy the day and take comfort in her time alone. Her tribemates were a bit intense sometimes and she really enjoyed the moments where she could simply be her own cat. Nobody else’s. Not her mentor’s, not the spirits’, but her own.
Ephemeris had missed out on a few opportunities for a mole and a meerkat once or twice since she was still learning to hunt new prey. Things that lived in the rocks and crags of her territory tasted like dust and dirt and not much else. She longed for the rich meat of forest animals.

She frowned a little, looking down at the shell as she felt a pang in her heart. The Shadow Triber hadn't really heard from her friend in a while since that night in the Crystal Forest, and their encounter during the Gathering hadn't gone too well either. Mizu's ears flicked, thankful that her neck had healed since then so she could return home, but she couldn't help but feel sad. Perhaps if she left a gift for Yui...
Shaking her head, Mizuki began to look through some of the bushes by the lake, but couldn't find any good berries that she could work with. She scrunched up her nose, then trotted over to the lakeside to gaze across it's surface. During HS - Poisoned Endeavor[ Raven // Silver-Fire // LT Border ]
Oh gosh, how far was it to Light Tribe?! Raven felt like she'd been trudging for ages, pulling the sick frame of Mizuki along on her back. Still, she felt like she was only halfway. Stronger though she had become, a cat who was both taller and heavier than her wasn't going to be an easy carry. It took a moment for her eyes to adjust to the change in light, but Yui had these tunnels mapped by heart, and had already trotted into the main camp by the time she could properly see. It took another little while for the apprentice to arrive at her own small den, depositing the few ingredients she’d picked up while further out in the territory, and she debated just going to sleep right then and there, but the low grumble of her stomach pleaded otherwise. With a sigh, the she-cat complied, turning and heading back the way she’d come, instinctively pausing to poke her head in the infirmary.

He wasn’t sure if he had found himself in this situation by fate, or maybe deep within himself he wanted to defy his mother and subconsciously looked for something like this.
This was the place he had wanted to live in since his childhood, but now, he felt small considering his massive size. What if they all attacked him and he hurt them all, making enemies unintentionally by acting in defense.

She was only about half of an hour into her patrol with no signs of stopping any time soon when she spotted a familiar face. Hey, it was that newcomer! Padding over, a friendly look on her face, she stepped in front of the other dame.

Belly full of food and happy to be out of Void Tribe for a beak in her training, Ephemeris was traveling a bit farther than she normally did. She had skirted between water tribe and light tribe territories to find the beach. She had never seen sand and a large body of water like this before. As long as Ephemeris could remember she could see the other side of any body of water she found, but this was so vast she couldn’t see the end.
The sand was oddly squishy between her toes and she didn’t particularly like the way it matted up in between them. She flicked her paws quickly with every foot fall. The water lapped at the shore and she saw the foam leaving white trails against the matted sand. It smelled strange, but Ephemeris didn’t mind it. The dull roar of the water seemed calming, and Ephemeris had placed herself down to rest beside a nearby bush.
It was such an open area, and the bush was convenient enough to offer some slight shade to the HS - ...And Still Be Desperate Folly (Part 2) PSAMizuki
The smoky she-cat felt relief as she saw that Ephemeris only managed to stun the creature, somehow content that the darkness still lingered on its pelt. It would awaken soon, so she gave a nod to the grey adolescent. Mizu could feel her limbs shaking a bit from the excitement and stress.

Her eyes crinkled in a subtle smile as Spinel approached, and she opened her mouth to chitter warmly at him in congratulations at his successful bat-befriending endeavor, when all at once, the camp seemed to descend into chaos as a shimmering specter materialized in the center of the cavern. Pressing her ears against her skull and bristling her fur, she lets out a loud hiss and skitters in front of her two closest kittens, bracing her body in such a way that they could take cover beneath the safety of her belly. With her tail vibrating, Mizuki felt her paws itching as she set up her area for her puppet show. She had found a pretty nice spot with two trees on either side, and a berry bush in between. With delicate paws, she decorated the bush with various cobweb designs and draped them over the trees as well. Her grin only grew as her display was finally finished!
She had a story, now all she needed was an audience.
Idris
The maned tom padded over, his tail twitching curiously as he watched the younger Shadow Triber. These tribe cats certainly were an odd bunch. What even were these festivals they spoke of? Seemed fun enough. Idris smiled at the Shadow Triber, waving his tail. "Hey, there! I'm Idris!" He hadn't heard about the cautions of giving Shadow Tribers his true name. Even if he had, he wouldn't listen.

How would you go about scaring someone during daytime..? Valkyrie had pondered this for a while, but figured she could - perhaps, have a solution. First - a mood setter. From the shadows of the bushes, she activated Breeze Away to have the winds whistle ominously through grass and trees. Then she began fiddling with nearby objects around Denahi - juggling pebbles, twigs and any other objects she could find nearby using Static and Sparks.
She picked up more and more until they had surrounded the tomcat completely. She then commanded the objects to zoom towards the tom - stopping a mere inch from his face. The sudden movement had to cause at least a flinch, right?
Shiro
Shiro puts on his armor set, but while doing so he puts on the final touches to his armor. Making it really demonic looking with the nearby paint and costumes. While doing so, he goes around areas and puts on red paint o HS - The Scare Floor (Round 2)Tiki
Tiki slipped from undergrowth to undergrowth, using What’s Out There to track where his target was, and where they were heading. When he followed them, he would occasionally make some odd noises or throw twigs and pebbles out in front of them before moving to a different patch of undergrowth to hide.
Once this had gone on for some time, then he decided that it was time for him to get serious. He took up a position behind his target and activated his tattoo. His tattoo bloomed into life with curling vines and flowers stretching up and down his shoulder , gleaming a vibrant golden hue that lit up that portion of his body.
A surge of energy and strength went through him as he cast Hercules while stepping out from the undergrowth, whilst adopting a stone cold demeanor as he did so. The third round had begun. This time, Mizuki didn't know the cat she was spooking personally, so she had to be clever in her approach of how she would scare this particular cat...
She had watched the other throughout the process, seeing how they acted and responded. Using Dark Warping, Mizu teleported through the shadows, causing little rustles and scratches along the trees and bushes to spook the cat. When she teleported to a branch on a tree above the cat, she felt the wood crack under her weight. With a grin, the Shadow Singer added that to her plan, allowing the sudden low creaking of the wood splinter down. Sharp, sudden noises as the adolescent then began a low, howling noise.
Activating her tattoo once again, she used her Illusion ability to conjure up the form of a wolf...however, it was mangled in appearance, and instead of being on all fours, its legs were bent into a bipedal position. Long arms and cla HS - The Scare Floor (Round 4)Pin
The final round. He made it to the final round of this scare contest which he could have never guess would have happened in a million years. The night sky over hanging his head, his eyes narrowed at the moon in the distance. Nothing but it’s glow shining down upon him, casting long shadows underneath his paws. This was it, he had to put his trust in his abilities to scare the living daylights out of his final target.
Inhaling a small breath, the purple on his back lit up and the electricity strikes from his tattoo markings appeared. Activating his I’m Absolutely stunning ability, he sent tiny shock waves much like his previous trick in the last round. They hummed, darting each and every way around Yui. Snow had delicately laid like a blanket over the whole land, and her trip back home had been a rough one. But when the Red-Shadow had made it home, reunited with her Tribe with stories and Healer knowledge, Mizuki felt extremely glad to be home. As far as she was concerned, she had h ad her fill of dangerous adventures for a while.
At least until her next wave of mischief struck.
Prey and such were scarce in this time, and the need for material was strong. Unlike the previous seasons, winter didn't have much to offer. She couldn't even find any herbs or plants that she knew of for healing purposes with all the snow laying about. She gave a little leap, jumping over a snow pile from a branch above that had collapsed, her body making a soft crunch sound in the snow.

She wasn't used to wearing accessories, but had brought along her dagger and necklaces to show off to Yui's family. It had been a while since she had seen the Blue-Light, and her siblings Moth and Dusk, and had enjoyed catching up with them all as they headed o HS - Fam Camp - Day One (1)The sound of the water is steadily increasing in volume- nothing serious, but you can tell you're close. Just as you can finally see the water through the trees, and come into a small clearing, you see there's a fork in the river. You begin to wonder which direction you're supposed to head now, but there's a space across the river, another clearing, but you can smell other cats... Ah! There, on one side, a little path of stones to cross the water. How convenient! Those who know where they are lead the way across the river, and into the makeshift campsite. Finally, you can rest... Or can you? Perched atop the smallest of several boulders are two resting cats- one peacefully dozing, and the other content to watch you until you notice her.

Hours upon hours of waiting had finally come to an end. The tabby she-cat was HS - Fam Camp - Day One (3)With all settling in, you all return to your respective seats, making room for the four newcomers. Dinner is divvied out and devoured before long, and you soon feel the calm that comes only with having a full belly, good company, and a warm fire. All pheasants now completely demolished, Kole and Kya make work of plucking the feathers from the bodies and stuffing them into the nests under the commanding gaze of their mother. It seems there's still time to kill before you hit the hay.

Spirits, it felt good to finally get something to eat. It had been sorely needed after the long trek from Light Tribe, but as tired as he and his paws were, Tig was glad that he was here. It had been so long since the family had all been able to come together again, and it was incredibly relieving to see that they were all okay. What he expected to gain from angering the Spirits, and even the leaders. So soon, and he would already lose the Shadow Tribers' trust. Mordred let out an annoyed hiss under his breath, lashing his tail.

With a longing sigh, the tom could only imagine what the she cat would make... No! Don't! Focus on your job!

It had been a while since the Red-Shadow had left Shadow Tribe territory, lingering by the edge of Silk Forest as she looked out towards Light Tribe camp. She had heard about the snow in from the gathering, and how Yui had to go back to her tribemates to help out. They would talk in their dreams at night, but Mizu had never heard of anything about how the rescue effort was going. She was tempted to go find out, her ears pricked for danger.

The snowstorm had died down thankfully, as Mizuki looked up from her exhausted state towards the Light Tribe camp. Along the way, she had found a fellow Shadow Triber also beaten and bloody. She wondered what Undyne had been doing out in the territory and away from Dox. Perhaps he had also been trying to get to a healer? Carrying the tom on her injured back made things worse, but her determination to save them both kept the Red-Shadow moving forward.
What had been wrong with Saph? Was it possible that the darkness could infect cats? Well, of course! That's what happened, after all. With no sense of right or wrong, unable to speak and blind anger and rage to kill, Saph had been simply a monster. After gathering the right herbs and cobwebs, and double-checking that Shion had everything covered, the little Blue-Light led her friend back to her den, thankful that she’d cleaned it out already. She refused to leave Mizuki’s side, though only glanced at her a handful of times, her mind overloaded with all of the information. So the rumor about loners being possessed was true- and at least one of her uncles had succumbed to the darkness. If she’d heard Dyne right, then it was more than likely both of them. Not only that, but they’d attacked her friends. They’d attacked cats they knew. Her gaze landed on Mizuki at her side again as she paused to let her into the den first.
If she couldn’t protect the one cat she’d sworn to, what was she doing? What had all her training even been for?

HS - The Otis (Part 1)Snow. So much snow. The more you dig the further the ground seems to be. What kind of weird weather phenomena caused all of this snow, even? However, as snow is moved away a clearly large den is discovered. A large hollowed out burrow encased in ice. Piercing the top reveals... Treasure. Lots of it. Lost accessories, golden things, shiny things, and rare equipment. Something had been stashing stuff here. Anyone nearby hears a disgruntled 'OYE' as the top of the den is breached.
Hex
Peering down into the large hollowed out burrow. Hex's eyes grew large at the sight of all the treasure that lay within. The tricolour molly's nicked ear twitching for a moment as she studied the contents of the newly discovered den. The fur along her back standing up as she startled when she heard a disgruntled "OYE! when the den was breached. The small molly, twisting around too look around for the source of the noise, startled by whatever had made the sound. HS - The Otis (Part 2)He was astounded with the illusion. A grin nearly ear to notched ear at the dark she-cat. Before he could react he was having a paw hovered over him. The sheathed claws caused him to let an exhale of relief.
"Easy there laddy! We rats don't have 9 lives, you know. Nearly stopped my beater from beating. Remember, touching Otis with intent to harm means lights out for you. So, don't get any ideas kiddo. Now, I like the very top of my head patted. Chop chop." If Vega obliged his request the rat would tap his foot rhythmically against the ground. He looked to the rest of the cats and twitched a whisker as yet another showed up. "And I thought rabbits were the best spreaders around I did. Oye." He tsk'd. It was then the droopy eared one would return with the largest cat he had ever seen. "BLIMEY IS THAT A COUGAR? You all trying to pull a fast one on old Otis?" His tail lashed. First off, THANK YOU TO WHOEVER GIFTED ME A MOTH OF CORE. I really appreciate it. <3 It's been a while since I had a core, so it's nice to have a neat journal skin again. <3 I found something appropriate for the winter months. As for the journal entry... Sorry I haven't been doing monthly updates like I SAID I would do haha. For a while there, in the beginning/middle of the year my art had pretty much run dry.
